Beruriah Esther

She was named today for her Great-Great-Great Aunt Birdie and my mother-in-law's good friend Wendy (whose Hebrew name was Esther, and whose birthday was also December 1st). They were remarkable, unique women, and I was lucky to know them.

And we were thrilled to learn that Esther was a prominent name on both sides of our family, most notably my grandfather's sister (Sherry), and Rachelle's grandmother's sister.
We'll be calling her Bru... or Beru, for all you Star Wars fans out there. ;)
