Kiddush Hashem Of The Day

George W. Bush likes to open up his cabinet meetings with a prayer, and apparently the various cabinet members take turns saying it. As U.S. News & World Report recently noted:

"...something that Attorney General Michael Mukasey said at the last meeting wowed President Bush. So much so, say aides, that they have a new project—pull together a book of cabinet prayers. 'Attorney General Mukasey gave a wonderful opening prayer that really struck the president, and [Bush] noted that a number of cabinet members over the years have opened these meetings with strong words of faith,' says Bush spokesman Tony Fratto."

Not everyone knows that Michael Mukasey is an Orthodox Jew. So just imagine the scenario -- he gets up there and says a Dvar Torah, and all of a sudden, the leader of the free world wants to form a book around it.

Pretty cool!
