The Past Week
Starting on Friday... because the Parsha was Noach, Rachelle had the kids make animal-shaped pizzas.

Bru got caught eating some cheese before finishing her masterpiece.
The end-results were gruesome but, I'm told, also delicious.
Let's fast-forward to Tuesday, November 1st, i.e. Jewish Halloween. Rachelle called Target the night before and was told that the costumes weren't going to be marked down until Wednesday. But we didn't believe her, and rightly so. Discounts were already in place Tuesday morning, so some kids scored some early Purim options

But our biggest outing was on Sunday, when we drove out to the mountains to go apple picking. Unfortunately, the place we went (we had a groupon) didn't have any apples left on the trees. A-yup.
But they did have an "apple cannon," which is exactly what it sounds like.

Bru was actually the only one who hit a target, but we didn't get a picture of it.
Here are some nice overexposed shots, though. The sun sure was shining!

I had my video camera on me, so some day in the future, you have to remind me to show you the footage of Rachelle baby-wrangling these kids, trying to get them to pose.

On her own, Hannah struck a pose just about everywhere she went.

Sometimes, the pose was "strangulation."
We also went on a tractor/hay ride.

Gorgeous shots. My hat off to the photog and the wrangler. (Actually, I see my hat on the photog -- looks good, if somewhat eerily like myself.)
Can't wait to see them all soon. Relatively soon.
awesome pictures. Like really freakin awesome.
